In this dossier on the Waskiewicz's family, a photograph
of the family's current homestead is contrasted with
a photograph of the home the family first built for
itself on arrival in the Canadian West. Such photographs
were used by agents of the Canadian National Land Settlement
Association to document a family's progress and to portray
homesteading as a positive experience.
