Move of part of the published material housed at 395 Wellington and at the Centre for Preservation at Gatineau

In order to improve the storage conditions of some of Library and Archives’ collections, they will be moved to more appropriate facilities. This will affect the delivery of the following collections.

Preservation copies
As of February 1, 2010, certain items from the Preservation Collection will be retrieved only once a week on Tuesday.

Rare books
During the period between February 1 and March 31, 2010, the Rare Book Collection will be moved to the LAC Preservation Centre in Gatineau and will not be available for consultation.
